The Jesus Re-Up
avoiding a summer slump

Dear Friends,

As you know from our parish crest and mission statement, we exist to be a light to the nations.

What does that mean? It means that we let Jesus light up our lives. He is light, and when we make him the very heart of our lives we radiate his good, merciful, and compassionate love to the world.

The summer can be a tough time. When our schedules get out of whack, as mine certainly has, we have to make more intentional decisions about what matters. What gets new attention? What gets crowded out?

Let's together renew our focus on Jesus. We won't regret it, I'm sure!

Christ's Peace,
Father Daniel
