Dear Saints,

June always seems to come upon us without warning. We stare incredulously at the calendar - and our children - wondering where the time has gone. “They were in kindergarten just yesterday, weren't they? How can they be graduating high school already?!”

The disconnect between our perception and the reality of time can serve as an important wake up call for us. Because we know life goes faster than we think it will, we should make a habit of not waiting. Where there’s conflict, don’t wait to resolve it. Where there’s injury, don’t wait to make it right. Where there’s pain, don’t wait to forgive. In short, don’t wait to love.

Love can’t stop the calendar pages from turning. But the more we love, the more we can be at peace with the passage of time, knowing we’ve made the most of every moment.
