PASTOR'S NOTE: Jul 27, 2025

Dear Saints,

Greetings from California! I’ve spent the past several days attending the Napa Institute’s 15th Annual Summer Conference. For those who aren’t familiar with the Napa Institute, it exists to offer Catholic leaders “an exploration in faith” and “an invitation to action.” Its summer conference brings together people from across the country to examine current topics impacting people of faith, with the ultimate goal of allowing Jesus to “reroute” our country back to truth, beauty, and purpose.

The Napa Institute’s official prayer asks God to “impress upon us a greater awareness for our respective vocations,” because we are called to participate in his own plan of salvation. More than anything, that reminds me of home.

I’m humbled by the opportunity to represent OLMC at such a meaningful gathering of Catholic leaders, and I’m gratified to report back that the work we’re doing as a parish and school is an inspiration to others near and far.

God created OLMC to be a shining city on a hill. Thanks to you and your fidelity to our shared mission, our light shines brightly before others, all the way in California and beyond.

Christ’s Peace,

Father Daniel
